Founding Partner, AIA. Stephen combines his background in construction with a passion for creating exceptional spaces, which forms the foundation of his design philosophy. After graduating from Auburn University, Stephen began his career at BLUR Workshop in Atlanta, GA, where he worked on large-scale hospitality projects across the Southeast.

Driven by his dedication to design, Stephen founded Bianchi Architecture with the goal of providing client-centered solutions, whether for development or personal use. At the macro level, his approach focuses on vision-setting, collaboration with all project stakeholders, and meticulous documentation to transform client goals into tangible outcomes. On a micro level, each project presents unique challenges in terms of client needs, context, and program. Stephen’s creative solutions harmonize these elements, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and technical requirements to meet the specific goals of each project.

Outside of the office, Stephen’s passion for travel enriches his understanding of architecture and urban environments around the world. He also hones his craft through custom furniture design and fabrication, and when time allows, enjoys to hit well above par on in-town golf courses.
